We are Summer House Design, located in historic downtown Port Townsend, Washington. We have the Olympic Peninsula's best collection of new and midcentury modern personal and home accessories. We strive to present our customers with a fresh selection of wares carefully chosen for good quality and design. As artists, we understand the positive effects that good design can have everyone's life day to day. About Cris and Glenn

Being both artists and "treasure hunters", Cris Busch-Lyons and Glenn Lyons, are always on the lookout for great design, be it old or new. Glenn is a glass-blower, specializing in flameworked glass. Cris is a painter, specializing in oils. Their combined talents in the visual arts give them an edge when it comes to spotting great products.

Variety Store

Summer House Design could be called a "variety" store in that we carry all kinds of wares - from handbags to wind-up toys. We have vintage and new products side by side on our shelves, but with our great displays there isn't any confusion. In fact, on more than one occasion a customer has said "Could you come and redecorate my house?", or "Can I move in to your store?".
